Area Chaplain 4th Canadian Division: (2017-2019) Commander. Responsible for professional oversight of Regular and Reserve Force Chaplains in Ontario. Provide support to Base and Brigade Chaplain Teams; oversee performance of subordinate Chaplains, prepare evaluations, assess chaplain team leaders; analyze Chaplain team reports for submission to CA Chaplain. Manage Chaplain Tasks; develop and maintain Chaplain Mobilization Plan, administer chaplain services in ecumenical and interfaith settings, support the Division Commander in caring for the Defence Team Members and Families, providing spiritual, moral, ethical, religious and pastoral advice. Task Chaplains to domestic operations including Deployments, Next of Kin Notifications and Ceremonial Activities.

Additional Responsibilities: Liaise with CA Command Chaplain to ensure compliance with CAF Directives and programs; Prepare Briefing Notes on Chaplain issues presented to Div Commander; Oversee recruiting of Chaplains within the Division; provide religious ministrations within the community; Review applications to Cadet Cadre and endorse individuals to support Summer Cadet Programs.

Canadian Forces Chaplains School Course Resource, Research and Development Officer: (2016- 2017) Lieutenant Commander. Responsible for developing and maintaining courses, provision of standards, training and evaluation. Creation of a Chaplain Development Course used in Ukraine in 2017 and Botswana in 2018 with expectation for further International Chaplain Training.

Additional responsibilities: Liaise with Chaplain Services on development of training for Canadian and International Chaplains; Prepare contracts for course delivery following DND policy; Provide strategic advice on development and maintenance of courses; Conduct annual training reviews; Evaluate costs of training for Business Plan.

Army Command Chaplain Staff Officer: (2013-14) Lieutenant Commander. Provided administrative assistance to Command Chaplain; supported the Army HQ in caring for the spiritual well-being of the Defence Team Community.

Additional responsibilities: Prepared briefings for higher distribution; Performed duties of the Command Chaplain as required; Attended Army and Veterans Affairs functions providing Chaplain services.

CFB Petawawa Senior Chaplain: (2010-13) Lieutenant Commander. Chaplain Team Leader in a multi-faith team environment. Responsibilities included the development of junior chaplains; provision of chaplain services at the tactical level; evaluation of chaplain ministry in accordance with CAF policy; advising Chain of Command on spiritual, religious, ethical and moral matters; preparing and fiscally managing a Business Plan.

Junior Tactical Level Chaplain: (2004-10) Lieutenant Navy. Provided pastoral ministry during daily garrison activities, on operations and exercises; recommended courses of action for military members on personal issues; served as Subject Matter Expert on religion, morale and ethics. Deployments to Cyprus (2007) and Afghanistan (2010). Received the CDS Commendation.
